A)     General information

Seiler Logistics AG (here also referred to as "we, "us") obtains and processes personal data relating to you or to other persons (e.g. work colleagues, family members; "third parties"). The term "data" is used synonymously with "personal data".

In this Privacy Policy, we describe how we process your data when you use www.seilo.ch (hereinafter "Website"), obtain our services or products, otherwise have a contractual relationship with us, communicate with us or otherwise deal with us. This Privacy Policy may be supplemented by other documents such as contractual terms or additional specific privacy statements.

a)     Use of our website

Regarding the use of our website, the following data processing purposes in particular arise:

1.     log files
When you visit our website, we automatically record general technical visit information in so-called log files. The browser and versions used, the operating system used by the accessing system, the website from which an accessing system accesses our website, the sub-websites accessed on our website, the date and time of access to our website, the IP address of the device used to visit the website, the Internet service provider of the accessing system and other similar information that may serve to avert the risk of attacks on our systems may be recorded.

4.     online registration
You can register online for events. We process the data collected during registration in order to ensure your participation in the event in question and to organize the events.

5.      online applications
You can apply online for a job with us. We process the data collected in the process in order to store, evaluate, allocate and forward your application and thus to handle the application process. Curricula vitae and data provided for the application may contain details of particularly sensitive data. If we conclude an employment contract with you, we process the data as part of this.

We use plugins. When you click on a link on one of our pages on social networks, a direct connection is established between your browser and the server of the social network concerned. This enables us to offer certain functions on the pages..

b)     Contractual relationships with customers, suppliers, and other business partners

For the purpose of fulfilling our contractual obligations, we process inventory data (e.g. names and addresses as well as contact data), contractual data (e.g. services used, names of contact persons, payment information) of customers, suppliers and other business partners with regard to the best possible fulfilment of our contractual obligations and services.

E)     Disclosure to third parties
